For patients with symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome, we conduct nerve conduction studies, which are painless processes to check nerve flow. Typically it can take a few months to see a neurologist, but we can perform the required testing in our office the same week. Personalized treatment plans can include anti-inflammatory medications, wrist splinting, physiotherapy, manipulation, muscle work, and nutritional supplements. If necessary, cortisone injections can be done in our office. Referral for surgery consultation is only a last resort.
